I had the pleasure of learning from Prof. Merton as part of the 2009-2010 Immigration Justice Clinic. She was consistently focused on the best possible outcomes for our clients and her passion and dedication was unwavering. I learned a great deal from her about the New York legal system and small claims court. She also correctly predicted my future professional setting in that I'd work in an office setting with lots of people and that I'd engage in collaborative efforts. While I don't work in the legal field, her prediction for my work setting was spot on. I work at Moderna and help collect data for our clinical trials which involves big teams and cross functional collaborative efforts with people in the office as well as all over the world. Thank you so much Prof. Merton for your help and guidance during my legal education at Pace Law School.

Here are a few photos of our end of year celebration from May of 2010. Our Clinic group gifted her a GPS device to help her not get lost when driving places, which seemed to happen with some degree of regularity. Hope it was helpful!
