Vanessa, you are my hero in so many ways it’s impossible to have enough words. I thank you for your guidance in law and life, especially your advice that the third time IS the charm in marriage! I went to Pace Law School for your DV Clinic and it was worth the tuition for the whole three years (at least some of which I’ve finally had forgiven!). I have served many victims and survivors in a client-centered way thanks to lessons I learned with you and have found great satisfaction in my career, following your model — although I admit I never was good with any tickler system. I deeply appreciate your encouragement of me when I was worried illness might slow me down or defeat me. I wish you all the best in your coming adventures. Thank you for being an inspiration!
