I cannot thank you enough for how impactful you have been in my life. I arrived to law school insecure and lacking confidence. That changed after joining the Immigration Justice Clinic. I told you about my fear of speaking and you immediately began calling on me every class so I could practice speaking. This is one small example of how invested you were in the growth of your students. Your commitment went unmatched.

Being your student wasn’t just about the clinic work, but the conversations about life, politics or anything else (especially late at night most of the time). I miss those conversations very much. I always learned when I was around you.

You are like another mother for me. You always had my back. Always looking out for me and my best interests. I will always appreciate everything you have done for me. I am not who I am or where I am without YOU.
